BEAR DROPPING IN THE BOWL NEXT!

Bears have become a daily problem in the Aspen/Snowmass area, but on Tuesday, a bear found an entirely new problem.
It ended up in the new Dreamland skateboard park, and didn't have a way to climb out.
Authorities say it looks as if the bear had been in the park all night when they found it Tuesday morning.
The solution to get the bear out was to give it a way to climb out.
So, authorities with the Snowmass Parks and Rec Department put a long ladder down into the skateboard bowl and the bear eventually climbed up and got out.

ATSUSHI QUALIFIES IN FIRST IN NZ

Slopestyle Battles the Elements on Day Two of the Burton New Zealand Open Snowboarding Championships
story from.... http://opensnowboarding.com/News.aspx?articleID=490

Heavy snowfall and limited visibility delayed the start of the second day of the seventh annual Burton New Zealand Open, but the riders and course crew overcame the challenging conditions with a full day of competition. It was no small task as over 70 men and 35 women from 16 countries were slated to take to Cardrona Alpine Resort’s newly sculpted slopestyle course, each vying for a highly coveted spot in Friday’s semifinal competition.

The men were first to drop into the 800m-long course featuring up and downrails, boxes, three kickers and a unique upstair feature to quarterpipe. Top scoring qualifier, Atsushi Ishikawa (JPN) kicked off his first place finishing run with a frontside boardslide sameways 270 out on the downrail, followed by a 50/50 180 out on the box, busting a big Cab 720 indy off the first kicker, followed by a switch backside 900 mute, into a backside 720 melon, followed by a 50/50 on the uprail, finishing with a backside 50/50 on the quarter pipe coping, to a 50/50 on the flatdown.

NZ OPEN LIVE ON go211.com THURSDAY

I spoke with Jeremy the other day and he said that NZ. is good weather blows...literally, so far its been cloudy every day. They had slope practice and Jermey said he rode so bad, due to the howling winds, wet snow and not much sun. But what can you ask for down under. Sunny and sick,... not really going to happen.

"Slope course is small and a bit weird but ital get worked out. We all have qualls tomorrow except for Humps and Lago, so just check internet for results. Not to much parting, Bradon turns 21 soon so well go out, tomorrow is karaoke night, that should be good. other than that its been mellow and Humps is sick like usual." JT

HOW TO PULL A PRANK ON YOUR FRIENDS....

1. Go buy a cheesy sticker

2. Find your friends auto, in this case we used Flow's Creative Director Dan Watts Ford Exploder

3. Place sticker on auto

Because two weeks later when they find out you're dead!

JUMPING INTO SOFTNESS WITH....ME?

Weather the Air Bag on the Mountain or the foam pit down at B.O.B. I was like a kid hucking my 38 yr self. In this vid I try a double back flip on the bag jump and a rodeo 7 on my skateboard into foam. Only thing was the impact on the Air Bag hurt if you tried to land on your feet. But the faom pit did not hurt it was just kinda stinky from all the sweaty kids.....ugh
