TTR WORLD TOUR

As the 2009 year is coming to a close, Flow is continuing to climb up the TTR World Tour ranks in many categories. For one our very own Sarka Pancochova of the Czech Republic is still at the top of the charts beating Ms. Jamie Anderson of the USA. Sarka just got back from her 2nd plaec victory at the Dew Tour in Summit County, Colorado. After the Dew gig she has the Roxy Chicken Jam in Austria January 8th-10th, in which this event is a TTR 6 star competition. That means doing good in the event will help her land more points towards the TTR World Title. On another note Flow is number two on the brand charts in both mens and women's categories. This is based on all of our riders TTR points from around the world and brand recognition. Only the big B in front of us, in Mens they have a pretty good lead but in the women's area we are starting to catch up thanks to Britte, Tori and Sarka. 1. Sunday: January 10th- Crotched Mt. NH. USA

2. Saturday; January 16th- Ski Sundown, CT.

3. Saturday: January 30th- Wachusett Mt. MA.

4. Saturday; February 6th- Sunday River, ME.

5. Saturday; February 27th- Stowe, VT (Adult)
Sunday; February 28th- Stowe, VT (Micron)

The Main Event Series is a snowboard competition based in New England to represent 5 premier resorts that allow riders the chance to win cash, prizes, a trip to South America, and wild card tickets into the US. Open!!!

Presented at the finals...
-Points accrued this season by each rider (any age or division) will be going towards an overall winner to receive a two week session in SASS summer 2010.
-One guy and girl from Heavyweight division will receive 1 wild card to the US Open, 1 engraved name on Champion Boxing Belts, and 1 custom engraved gold NIXON watch as a trophy, and $$$.
-1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners receive product set ups from our sponsors.
-One boy and girl from Micron division will receive product from our sponsors and 1 wild card to the US. Open Jr. Jam.


The Micron Event will be hosted as a jam series consisting of a jump and box feature. The finals however will be hosted as a legitimate half pipe competition and riders will have the chance to qualify for the Jr. Jam in the U.S. Open.

Christophe Reynders wants his MTV

Flow International Snowboarder Christophe Reynders and MTV Europe have been doing some work together.

Christophe says he has been filming with MTV Europe and HE will pick the winner of the MTV Amateur Snowboarder contest in the next few weeks in the final episode, look out for it!
It is a 7 episode long show about snowboarders and one will rise as the King of Snow,

Christophe is the judge and teacher.

19 Year Old Chinese Flow Team Rider Jokey Tong Qualifies for the 8th Annual Red Bull Nanshan Open last week. He is sponsored by: FLOW, GIRO, SESSIONS & DRAGON

Beijing, CHINA (December 26, 2009) - It was smiles all around for Andrew Wilde, He Wei, Li Jie, Ming Ming, Li Penghuan and Jokey Tong as it was announced they had qualified for the 8th Red Bull Nanshan Open on Saturday! Over 50 riders took to the Quiksilver Nanshan Mellow Park on an unseasonably cold Saturday to battle it out for the six remaining spots in the 8th Red Bull Nanshan Open, a 4Star Swatch Ticket To Ride World Snowboard Tour competition.
While a freak Thursday night sandstorm left the snow park covered in a 1cm layer of dirt on Friday, the park crew worked furiously to clear the mess, and with a fresh coat of nice, white man-made snow the park was once again shredable come Saturday.

After a quick morning warm-up session, the pressure was on as riders took to the park for two runs, with only their highest scoring run counted. The tension was definitely visible as riders put their all into stomping their runs when it mattered the most!

With the full 8th Red Bull Nanshan Open riders list now complete, the locally qualified riders are sure to be in the park practicing non-stop over the next two weeks, ensuring they have their tricks perfected and hopefully dialing in some new ones! We can't wait to see what's in store for Chinese snowboarding come January.

This Event boast to be one of the Biggest Shred Event's in the Mid-West and will be covered by a slew of sports Media. Team 43 crew will be there with bells on. I wanted to share my past weekend with all of you.
So this last weekend started with, the shop I ride for Skjerss'a rail jam annual here in Bend Oregon. 5 girls competing on a huge scaffolding set-up, best turn out in the last 5 years I would say. Climbing crazy ladders and being so high for the jump set-up. Wow it was so fun! I won friday night,the prize a 100 bucks!

Saturday night was the first Oregon Cup it was another rail jam Under the lights at Bachelor. It was another sick set-up. A stair set up with a flat down box with creeper rails on the sides and a down round bar with a good old donkey at the end. 8 girls showed up for that. I ended up winning and the prize was 300 bucks!

Sunday was the 3rd annual Dirksen Derby, Put on by pro shredder Josh Dirksen. Tons of the snowboard Industry showed up for this. It benifits one of our local snowboarders that got paralyzed in USSA Nationals, Tyler Ekland! We raised over $5000 for him and he was in the sit-ski division this year. That was really exciting for me! Well Josh picked me for the golden boot into the Baker Banked slalom for 2010! I have always wanted to go to it and now I am! I am overall super happy!

FLOW TEAM INVADES COPPER COLORADO

This weekend's competitions are the kick off to the Grand Prix season. Riders are competing in this event, the first of five Olympic halfpipe qualifying events, in hopes of winning a ticket to the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver this February.

The event will be broadcasted on NBC Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. ET and on Versus Dec. 27 at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. ET. Fans can check out www.ussnowboarding.com for more information about the event.

and Tim Humphreys had to battle in the 1st round Torstein Horgmo from NOR. A hard fight between the guys had in Torstein a close winner. But Tim tried everything and had some marks after he could not stick his 1080 double cork attempt

Besides great riding and an unexpected victory of Marko Grilic, The Hives showed once more why the crowd loves them.

WOMAN CLAIMS SEX CHANGE ON HER SEASON PASS

Woman claims sex change when caught using boyfriend's ski pass at Keystone
Summit Daily News

KEYSTONE — A father was "shocked" last weekend when a deputy called asking whether his son was having a sex-change operation, according to a report from the Summit County Sheriff's Office.

The trouble started when a woman was caught at Keystone Resort trying to use the ski pass of a man named Daniel. The woman claimed to be in the middle of a sex change. The deputy asked for the parents' phone number and the woman gave it to them. Daniel's father answered and said he knew nothing of a sex change. An hour later, the Keystone supervisor told the deputy there was a phone number on Daniel's ski-pass file. The deputy called the number and Daniel answered, informing the deputy that he had given the pass to his girlfriend, Wanda. The woman spoke with Daniel, then told the deputy that she was actually Wanda. She was arrested and booked on charges of theft of more than $500 and criminal impersonation.
